Using Current Meta Search Engines as CRISs

• Meta Search Engines COULD collect data from any database

• testing real life ones:
  www.metager.de, www.vivisimo.com ... etc ... -> 0

• reason: it would be a tremendous effort, there are thousands of CRIS databases

• BUT: a giant CRIS Meta Search Engine WOULD be a potential solution

• expensive: the manpower for all the thousands of interfaces to the thousands of CRIS databases

• it could be a good solution to a subset of CRISs
